Creating & Managing Campaigns

Master the art of AI voice campaign management. Learn how to create effective campaigns, optimize call schedules, and track performance to maximize your lead generation results.

What is a Campaign?

A campaign is a structured AI calling project that targets a specific group of contacts with consistent messaging and goals. Think of it as your AI's "assignment" - who to call, what to say, when to call them, and what outcomes to achieve.

Campaign Components:

Target contact list (tagged in GHL)
AI conversation script
Calling schedule and rules
Success criteria and goals

Campaign Types:

Lead Qualification: Screen prospects for motivation and budget
Appointment Setting: Book qualified prospects into your calendar
Follow-up Campaigns: Re-engage previous leads or clients
Event Promotion: Invite contacts to webinars or events

Setting Call Schedules

Best Practices

Peak Hours: 10 AM - 2 PM and 4 PM - 7 PM typically get better connect rates
Time Zones: Our system automatically detects contact time zones
Respect DNC Hours: Never call before 8 AM or after 9 PM local time
Weekends: Generally avoid unless you have explicit consent

Advanced Scheduling

Pacing: Limit calls per hour to avoid overwhelming your calendar
Retry Logic: Space out attempts (24h, 48h, 72h)
Priority Calling: VIP contacts get called first
Campaign Pausing: Automatically pause during holidays

Pausing & Resuming Campaigns

When to Pause

• Script needs adjustment based on early results
• You're getting too many appointments (good problem!)
• Holiday periods or business closures
• Need to review and optimize based on feedback
• Budget limits reached for the month

Pausing Options

Immediate: Stop all calling right now
After Current Batch: Finish calls in progress, then pause
Scheduled: Pause at a specific date/time
Smart Pause: Pause when daily goals are met

💡 Pro Tip: Smart Pausing

Set daily appointment goals (e.g., "pause after 5 appointments booked") to prevent overwhelming your calendar while maintaining consistent lead flow.

Per-Campaign Agent Selection

Each campaign can use a different AI agent. This lets you match the right agent to the right job — use the Standard agent for complex qualification scripts and Gemini Flash for high-volume outreach.

How to Set It

  1. Open the campaign creation or edit form
  2. Find the AI Agent dropdown
  3. Select the agent for this campaign
  4. If left as "Default", your account-level agent is used

When to Override

Complex scripts: Use Standard for detailed qualifying
Simple outreach: Use Gemini Flash for speed
A/B testing: Run identical campaigns with different agents
